New build need opinions

Going to reuse my 750w LSU powersupply and my TB hard drive


This is the build I was thinking of setting up and im always open to suggestions. What should I change and if you have any suggestions on how to save money let me know!

Nice build, got a few suggestions.
1) Your motherboard comes with free 8GB of ram, either buy another 8GB of same model, or don't buy more at all since you don't need more than 8GB for gaming.
2)Your optical drive is overpriced, any 20$ Lite-on optical drive will do the same work.
3)Your case is way overpriced, get the HAF 912, it's my #1 suggestion, it's just 60$!

 

its not an optical drive its a bluray drive, i need it to play blu rays. I Also planned on using the 8gb of ram it comes with but im still gonna get 16gb of the same type of ram because its not going to be strictly for gaming. The case more then anything for me is me liking Thermaltake and wanting to go with the omni color led lights because it looks amazing.

and wow the case is actually very nice, i actually may use it and just add LEDS to it. but im still leaning towards my other one.

 

How about a hard drive or ssd? What is so good about that case to justify the price? I got a $40 case and it gets the job done.

 

like i said im reusing my 1tb hard drive and my 128gb SSD from my old build.

and i like the fact that the case has all the fans i need to keep the circulation up built in so ill save money there

 

Oh, didn't see the part about the hdd. You got an ssd too, that's good. The case only has 3 fans, my $40 case has 2 and circulates well. I think you can cut down on case price and use the money on a cpu cooler, which greatly complements the 2500k.

 

i hate to say it i do love the case for its looks. I am like the look of the red leds and its not too over priced and after the holidays ill have some extra income to spend ^^
