Is a scammer. Did not state that keys are non Steam and after I bought the key is not willing to refund and has added a clause that refunds not permitted by editing the post. Will start a paypal dispute and report you in the scammer section.

 

You never asked in Pm if it was a Box Copy Or Steam Key First of all. Secondly all you need to do is trade some one the key for a Steam Key. Thirdly This thread was Started in the Non Steam Section, because these are non steam accounts or steam keys. I posted in Other Games for that Reason. Also Everyone else knows that after you send some one a key its practically Worthless considering you probably wrote it down for furture/later use for "You" Or some one in Particular "You" know or may come across.

Sorry for the Problems. Best bet is to find some one to trade the Hard Copy key with for a Steam key.

You'd think that if you wanted anything doing with Steam, You would be in the (STEAM SECTION) In the forums. On another note, Why make things so complicated an not just re-sell the key and or ask some one to trade you a Steam Key for the Box Copy key you Have?

So Instead not specifying from the start that you wanted a steam cd-key you expect to just get refunded for having a Code on Paper/PM To use for later use? Thats the seller getting jipped, not the buyer.

You're also Non US Paypal Verified, so I guess that adds to the since of trying to rip people off for keys.

For future note Read the thread an ask the Buyer If it was A Steam CD Key or Box Cd Key. Also Just re-sell or Trade the one you want with some one. How is that so hard?

You have to live in US to be US verified. If you live somewhere else you are Non US. Are you nuts or what? Some 13yr old kid?

Yes I was under the impression that it was a steam key since it did not occur to me otherwise. Why do you keep harping that the key may be used by me after you refund? Why would I scam for 3$? And I am sure the key does not work at all.

 

The same reason your trying to claim 3$ while you still have the key instead of asking some one to trade for a Steam key or Re-Selling it? Also the key does work, it just a non steam key so you just need to download COD4/install/type in the key for multi-player/connect to servers. There you go. That is unless you have it on CD already.

There are no Steam keys for COD 2,4,5 as all keys from retail boxes are non Steam redeemable. COD 4 gifts are a common because it came as gift for people who preordered MW3.

If Green_20 didn't explicitly state that keys hes selling are Steam keys its your job to ask before buying. You can't just assume that a key somebody is selling is a Steam key because the game is on Steam.

As you can see its pretty short as well as it explicitly states in bold letters that COD4 is not accepted.

Imo this is a misunderstanding that you can't blame on the seller.

Of course you can ask for a refund but if he refuses you should accept it and move on.
He has presented good reasons to deny your request.

And to make this clear:
It's your job as a buyer to ask before buying if a key is redeemable on Steam in case it is not stated explicitly.
COD2,4,5 keys are not Steam redeemable. If you didn't know, it's your fault not the sellers. Asking the seller or checking the Steam FAQ would have been enough to avoid this misunderstanding. If you check other threads or forums nobody assumes that COD2,4,5 keys are Steam redeemable because there are simply none.

No offense SouthCarolina. You know I have backed other posts of yours but in this case I think you are asking for too much.

 

Thanks for the help on this. Id be more then happily to refund for some thing that I could refund, but as far as Keys go its to risky. Then IF I tried selling that key for that game I would be represented as a bad seller if the person that refunded it kept it for his/her own use later down the road so there for Id get bit twice.

Just hope that once I figure out how to get the game, the key works. If not a perma-ban awaits you.

 

Just find a cracked version of MW, (Not supporting warez, just trying to help him/her to get to a solution) And in multiplayer you can just edit the keys. Very easy, in the menu. If you do not want to do that, borrow a disk. And I think there are places that let you download COD4 for free, but not the key.

 

That is what I pointed out, Or just re-sell the key or ask some one to trade for a COD4 Steam account ?
