ESO: Elder Scrolls Online Discussion

Elder Scrolls Online is finally about to come out June 9th for the PS4 and Xbox One. What's everyone's thoughts on the game that has been delayed tremendously?

I personally can not wait! Skyrim was one of the most fun games I've played and hope that this can follow it up.

It might be hyped up, but I love games like this. Especially for the console where most my buddies are console gamers. No PC gamers.

 

I want to play the game, I played Skyrim for so long - it just seems that this is going to be another great edition.

 

It's been great so far. Kind of buggy but as expected.

 

It will be interesting to see how good it is in comparison to the PC version. There was so much hype for the PC version then it seemed to largely disappoint, I can't see why this wouldn't either unfortunately.

 

It's for the console now, a lot of people stick to console and never venture to PC, so this is a different kind of game for them.

 

I don't see how the likes/dislikes of a console gamer will vary so much from those of PC gamers that the game will be received differently however

 

PC gamers have more diversity in games compared to console gamers. Only so much data/memory/whatever you wanna call it, that you can put into a console game. Where as PC, it's endless.

PC gamers have a lot more to choose from.

 

That's a good point actually, for console the only main competitor of the same genre I can think of is Diablo.

I still feel it's going to be overshadowed by Witcher 3 simply due to the similar release dates and the series having been similar in nature despite these two individual games being in a completely different genre.

I might have to re-purchase a next gen console at the end of this year... Witcher 3, ESO and Fallout 4 are all titles that actually make me want to make the leap as opposed to the lackluster titles prior.

I've enjoyed it a lot so far.

 

I played the game on PC, but ended up leaving it. I coulnd't manage to play it well on PC, I sucked. I want to see how It's played with the xbox one controller which is the one that I like the most. Will surely be buying it soon.

 

Does ESO not have the ability to use a controller on PC?

 

I loved the game.The only reason why i am not playing is the lack of time.

What race/play style are you guys rolling?

 

Man im loving this game so far, Im a VR4 Sorc and ive been playing it while I NMZ blowpipe on OSRS. Quests are amazing and so is pvp. I hope all of you are AD because the other alliances suck

Okay not sure who posted on this, but doesn't anyone have an opinion towards the game. I really enjoy every elder scrolls game and I wanted to buy this but it seemed very different.
How was it?

I am very interested to play . but I know in advance where moneymaking suitable for a newbie .

 

I played it for a few weeks when it came out, solo. It seemed to miss both the depth of the other ES games as well as the cooperation/competition aspects of MMOs. Apparently, there have been a lot of improvements made since then, and I will probably revisit the game sometime.
