Market place, full of people buying with rsgp?

well since free trade its been harder to sell accounts, as i see people trying to buy with rsgp, which is quite annoying since i have to spend money on my vps to keep it up.

what are your thoughts and does it affect you?

 

The reason they do this is so when the scammers recover their accounts the buyers can't recover their gp.

 

You can sell gold quickly for $0.80 a mill so convert that into usd for the accounts then sell the gold.

Or just mention that you only take cash.

 

trust me i have tried metioning and selling GP ain't my thing really since there are loads more trusted and experianced users selling it.

 

Some of the GP sellers on here do buy gold as well, which they sell for profit. Some buy it .70-.80 per mil.

 

Well a lot of scammers buy really large amount of gold and pay through PP and then recharge back the money. IMO, it's more a risk then whats it's worth unless highly trusted people.

 

I don't think it really affects it that much. I personally enjoy paying in rsgp. YOU CAN'T DISPUTE RSGP.

 

GP can't be charged back. It's more readily available to the audience that RuneScape appeals to than real life money is. Things were pretty much this way pre-2007. I sort of expected it. People only paid PayPal for accounts and such before Febraury 1st because it was pretty much your only option.
