caution possible virus!

my avg just popped up and told me that one of the advertisements on the page could be potentially harmful im just giving a heads up so u guys dont mistakenly click them and get hacked.

is there a way to remove them because i dont want viruses and is it safe still? what should i do?

 

I doubt any adverts here lead to any viruses. Do you know which advert in particular AVG didn't like?

 

Your AVG couldn't have picked up any of the adverts as a virus unless you clicked them. Going by your OP, I presume you haven't clicked, which leads to the thought of you having other websites and/or programs open which are indeed malware.

 

this was happening a little while ago as well ill see if i can find the post

 

This has already been addressed previously. It's a false positive.
