Now You See Me

Just downloaded & watched this in HD, was better than I expected.

Thoughts?

 

Despite the excruciating slow start, it ended up being not that bad of a movie.

 

I thought it was pretty good. Like heads said, a bit slow to start but if you think about it there aren't a whole lot of events that are actually within the movie. I definitely didn't see the main twist coming. Some of them were pretty obvious though (won't say example so I don't give away spoilers)

 

I dont like how it skipped from them being in the room to them being the horsemen, but other than that really good i loved it.

 

Loved the movie. Somehow I knew Jack was alive the whole time.

 

Hated it. The story kept going back and forth on whether or not it was "real" magic or an illusion, and whenever they worked themselves into a corner with the terrible plot they just played the "magic" card.

And come on, that faked death scene on the bridge? How could a bridge chase being followed by a news helicopter not see a bus pushing a car identical to the one being chased directly in front of it.

I could go on, but you get the idea.
