My xbox used to red ring quite a bit then I fixed it with the 8 pennies under the mb which fixed it for awhile but like 15 mins ago it started up. Does anyone know of anyways to fix it not using the xclamp method or sending it in? I don't wanna buy any of those red ring fixing things on the internet.

Well I've done that before and it still messed up. Do you mean do it with the pennies?

All the fixes on YouTube are temporary (i.e. the penny trick, the towel trick, etc.). The best option you have is to have it repaired locally (i.e. craigslist) - which is cheaper than Microsoft (assuming you're out of warranty with them).

You can always try and X-Clamp fix or something, if you're proficient enough with that stuff.

Microsoft pumped millions into its tech people to try and fix the red rings problem and now since 2008 they have stopped making the white arcade xbox 360s.

I suggest you buy an elite 360 which wont RROD on you.

Or buy cheap $100 arcades from china until they RROD thats what i do.
