Need Support on MY Site

Recently I've noticed that my site is dying. Members are becoming inactive. I don't want ti to die. I honestly don't, because i just saved up enough money to buy a bunch of shit for it. Is there any way I can save it / increase membercount on it?

 

This section is for people that have personal problems and issues, not for us to help with your website.

I run forums, quite a bit of them and I think I can offer some advice.

I suggest you cut down on the number of forums, having so many forums at such an early state of the game just makes it harder for new members to find interesting conversation. You have sections with 0 topics you can delete or merge sections until you see enough activity that you feel justifies creating new forums and moving posts there.

Wait for people like me who want to learn japanese to stumble across your signature. Sign up to a bunch of forums, and just put that in your signature, and post a lot around the forum, make sure it's noticeable.

Believe me, I've tried advertisement. But every member who joins just remains inactive. And that pisses me off.

 

Maybe it depends where you were advertising at.
You need to advertise on a website like yours where people swarm to attract active users.
At the same time, offer them something that is not on their current favorite site, something new & different.

 

It's all about good content. Optimize your site for search engines & create good content.

A good way to gain traffic is to post articles, especially for a site like yours.
