It sounds more likely that the extra £20 covers the £1k excess in the event of an incident, without the extra £20 you'd probably be liable for the £1k excess.

It's illegal to drive in the UK without insurance so they wouldn't be allowed to hire them out without the insurance in place, or you proving to them you have alternate in place.

I myself am a family man, 2 children, I remember finishing school at 16 needing to find a job, as my mum wasn't in a good place in her life. I found myself at one point even borrowing money from pay-day lenders to make ends meet. At one point i literally was paying out 80% of what i earned on the day i was paid.

I unfortunately never had the chance to go to uni but managed to work myself up over the last 12 or so years to where i am today, it took some grit and seriously shit and depressing days. When my first born was due me and my Mrs had to ask family and friends for things to be passed down to make sure we had the basics of what we needed.

These times change, and with some major work ethic and willingness to do anything to get out of your situation you will mate. I'm not rich by any standards but we make ends meet and have a holiday once a year - in honesty im not sure why you got a rental car when your balence is below 0, especially as London is one of the most expensive places to drive in the UK!

At 21 if your finances are secure then you're a very fortunate young man, sadly for alot of us 'normal' folk we don't have that luxury, but i would recommend living within your means, as in no cars - fancy foods - silly expenses that you could avoid. Pay whatever change or spare money you have into your accounts, even as little as £5 a week will show you it can be done.

If you ever fancy a chat my skype is in the sig, just believe in yourself and remember theres no shame in working a shit job to get by, i've known men drive themselves crazy because theyre too proud to get their hands dirty.

 

Hey, I'm thinking about solving my money problems through staking via hiring maxed mains and buying about 100m. I haven't staked before so would really love some advice or maybe i can watch you stream staking for an hour so i get the feel of it? I've spoken to many people that make their living off of it and it all sounds too good to be true. Please can anyone give me advice or tips?

Take it from me, I own a max main myself and have had my fair share of big wins and losses. Best case scenario you will make bank temporarily, only to come back to the arena and lose it all eventually.

 

Only thing that'll do is lose you 2m/hr or whatever the rate is for hiring
