Need Speech Topic

That time of the year again at school where we have to do speeches Anyway leave a reply if you have a good idea for a persuasive topic, maybe something going on in the world right now.

I'm 16, not really appealing topic to people that age lol, thankyou though.

 

1. why should students be allowed to have cell phones in high schools?
2.Should students have to wear uniforms?
3.why Should state colleges be free to attend?
4.why should marijuana be legal for use in country limits?
5.why Should students be paid for having good grades?

Speeches? As in standing in front of the class and presenting your opinion on a certain topic? We never had to do that, weird.

You could do it about the massive protests in Brazil right now, I don't believe there's any other "big" news going around right now.

Animal testing, abortion, stereotypes, euthanasia.. something controversial that'll kill the dead silence at the end when you ask if there's any questions

It's always wise to choose something YOU feel strongly about, and that means a lot to you - this way you can talk freely without notes for a larger portion of the talk.

 

I took a speech class this year. Our persuasive speeches consisted of selling products, real or fake. You should ask your teacher about it

 

Talk about the impending overpopulation of the earth and what will happen as a result of that

OP: What interests do you have? For example I'm really into computers so I gave a persuasive speech convincing people do choose a water cooling solution over something air cooled. Maybe not the most interesting topic but my suggestion is doing about something that interests you, its much easier to talk about something you're an expert in.
