I don't know how people can stake so much.

I just don't understand how people can risk a Phat or 1Bill in a stake or a dice its crazy, i'm a guy who likes to keep his money in order and do not gamble so I guess thats one reason I dislike it but also some of the stories I have read of people loosing 10Bill? man i'd be so annoyed if that was me. What is your views on people risking so much cash?

 

yeah im the same, if i HAD that wealth to risk i would still only stake at 50m intervals

But if you have 1b , you risk it and you win WOOHOOO.

It's simply what people resort to when nothing else in RS excites them anymore. Or they simply want a risky shot at getting rich quick

 

Yeah, but let's look at all the other people that have true gambling addictions. The more you stake, the greater the thrill.

There are alot of people who love the adrenaline of winnign aswell

And i think that once you become those people who stake billions everyday and have profited like 50k$, they just stake to make vids but they already cashed out so they dont really worry

 

Yea there is people who have made so much doing it, but it can easily go the other way and loose loads.

 

I stake and dice a lot of money but that's because of a gold farm I have which rakes in 2B+ week.

If you think 10B is a lot, you haven't heard of the 60B stake.

 

The way i see it you need money to make money, i made all my money from staking. If your good at it, it can become addictive and fun!

 

Say an average job would take a month to earn $1000, imagine earning that in 15 minutes, just by sitting in your chair at your computer. This is the thing, it's high risk, but if you win it has a very nice outcome. That's why people are willing to do it.

 

They most likely got rich staking in the first place. But I also could never stake that high knowing the $ value behind that gp

 

If you're a professional, you should have no problem winning. Some of it's probably luck as well.

Bankroll managment is the key..Only risk what you can afford to lose.Its just like playing roullete except with your entire bank can have devasting effects upon a persons well being.

 

I mean you can always double up your bets but if you have bad streak you can get cleaned lol.

 

I actually could never even bet $50 on Red in roulette in real life. But somehow I hardly felt anything staking partyhats in RS even though I am well aware of their $ value. It's about the mentality you choose to take. In real life no matter how good you think you are - the house always has an edge. It may be small but the odds will always be against you. It's different in the game - you feel more confident knowing you have a slight edge such as the first hit and then it feels less like gambling purely on luck.

Sure, there are some people who just take a partyhat, walk into the arena, stake it, look away from the screen for 3 minutes and hope for the best. That's nothing more than relying on luck and is the same as dicing, with maybe slightly higher odds.

 

Some people don't see runescape GP as having real value in the real world, so it allows them to not care as much. If they are going to quit anyway, they might as well have fun staking.

There are also people who make a lot IRL from staking.

 

In my opinion, people gain an adrenaline rush from doing it.
Yesterday i started the day with 5m, managed to get up to 20 though frosty flowers, and now im down to 106k.
But when i was doing it, i felt like it was more fun then earning the money though other methods.
