Need someone to help me build a computer

Well, a sythe user who goes by the name of ZzDiety helped me pick out computer parts to build my own computer.

He was also meant to help me build it, by me putting the webcam on and him running me through it. However, he can not get on the computer until sometime next week.

    The parts are arriving tomorrow.

Here are the parts I have ordered

Q1) How much would you estimate the total cost of the parts to be? (To see if I got a good deal)
Q2) How complex do you think putting it all together will be? I have only done a small amount of work on the interior of my computer before (Replacing hard drive, RAM and fan). Will I be able to build one from scratch?
Q3) Is any body willing to assist me build it on msn tomorrow?

    I'd help, but I won't be available for a few days >.<

It's not that hard, there's really only one place each plug can go, minus a few. I'd advise you to invest in some zip ties to keep the cords clean and out of the fans. Keep it tidy from the start, it makes the process a whole lot easier.

    1) Looks like those are really good prices actually. Where did you end up ordering from?
    2) The only hard part will be hooking things up to the mobo (little cords for the power button, etc). There should be instructions on where everything goes though.

Just remember to touch a piece of metal to get rid of any static electricty, as not to fry any circuits.

Thanks for the advice. I'll order some on amazon now with 1 day delivery so I'll have them ready for tomorrow.

Ebuyer.com I would of got it from newegg, but I'm from the UK.

If you were to help me out building it, there may be a few dollars reward ^_^

At first I thought you'd got good deals, but I noticed it says the parts are ex. VAT in your screenshot. If you have to pay 17.5% on top of the prices of the parts it totals at about £550. For that price you could get a similar new system on eBay.

You ought to be able to put it together. Read the relevant manuals that come with the parts and it should be self explanatory. General tips are to keep a torch handy so you can see what you're doing and be careful not to send screws flying when you're screwing things down.

I'd feel a lot more comfortable buying from a site I have used before and I trust, than from a random user on ebay. Also, eBuyer guarantee next day delivery.

Is there anyone I can add on msn, that can assist me if I run into any troubles?

I can try my best to help you, but I currently don't use the actual Windows Live Messenger program, I use something called Pidgin, which is a multi protocol instant messenger. I put my own computer together. Send me a private message for my Windows Live Email.

Fair enough. I'd give you a hand but I'm going on holiday.

If no one here helps you then there are always system builder forums where you could post pictures of your system and ask for help.

Hey man, sorry that I couldn't get your computer fully up and running. I've tried my best, but it didn't work out as we planned. I'm sorry if I wasted your time or anything like that, but I really tried my best to help. Hopefully someone else can help you get it up and running, best of luck.

Sorry to put this so bluntly but whoever helped you put that list together is pretty bad at computers.

The 4670 is an EXTREME bottleneck for that i5, you'd get similar performance with like an e8400.
