EB Games/ Gamestop returning

I bought a new game last sunday for $60 but it is crap I hate it, total burn of my money. If I have the receipt can I still return it? I heard you can return anything with a receipt within 7 days of buying it.

 

Check their website for a return policy or read the receipt because it might be outlined on their as well.

 

What was the game out of interest? If you bought a key and have activated it I would have thought it be highly unlikely they will refund you.

 

I think EB Games has a policy of not accepting games that have been opened to be refunded. But I'm not 100% sure.

It's truely a rip-off, you're going to get maybe 25$'s of store credit for a 60 dollar game that they will turn back around and sell for 50 bucks.
