castle wars vs duel arena

Which do you prefer and why?

 

Castle Wars. I like the opportunity of multiple targets, teammates, and the CTF version of the game. However, it's been pretty dead for many years. I liked it back in the day when any given world could actually sustain a real CW game.

 

Yeah CW has more, and more varied content xD

Epic nostalgia trip aswell

 

Oooooh, that's a hard one... I'd have to say over all I prefer Duel Arena because I can choose who I want to fight and also take part in competitions.

 

Castle wars, that is if your not counting duel tourney then I prefer it more. Castle wars has more of an objective so I like that aspect more then jut killing people.

 

why do u compare these minigames? duel arena is for wining money, castle wars for xp.
Anyways i prefer castle wars... but the old castle wars was much much better then in these days Duel arena too

Anyways, I would have to vote for CW, still is my favorite minigame after 6 years.

 

Duel Arena is for money? There's a trade cap in place. It's nowhere near what it used to be, where people would stake phat sets. Duel Arena is now only for controlled death matches.

Castlewars is for xp? You get like 30k exp/hr, max. Hitting on armoured enemies is not really a case of good exp, and the deaths slow it down significantly.

I'd say both of these minigames are purely for fun, with the incentives of a small bit of cash or a small bit of exp being extremely secondary.

 

I prefer Castle Wars now, but before they nerfed Duel Arena that.

 

after the duel arena started going downhill castle wars > duel arena.

 

cant see how u can prefer either there both totally differnt. castle wars is bigger and has a point to get the flag or most kills or just to kill random. and all you can do at duel arena is to pretty much pk with out losing sht. loved duelarena when u could stake as much as u liked.

Castle wars for sure. I used to practicly live there a few years back...
It's so much better piling people than 1v1ing in duel arena ;p

 

Castle wars is more fun because you can go with a large group of friends - I would have a hard time picking between castle wars and clan wars though.

 

i like duel arena,like owning people & getting my DA rank up.

 

I miss these days also, I remember you use to get like 8-20 people in most worlds which made it really fun.

I picked these 2 mini games because updates to the game over the years has effect both.

Mini games with better rewards(castlewars)
Trade limit (duel arena)

 

Castle wars, I like that fact that it's team based and there are rewards.
