"Trade With Caution"

Okay, simple question. I've noticed this title on a few members and was wondering what qualifies a person for this title?

 

If theres some sort of trust issue with the person, that doesn't necessarily prove he scammed, but should take caution while trading with a person under that user group. Should be pretty self- explanatory.

 

It's basically given to a member who has had a history of shady trading or activities.

 

Hmmm. Any examples of what differs between shady trading and scamming?

 

Banned and TWC'd is the difference.

Asking people to 'trade your special way" earns you a TWC because its shady as can be.

 

Ah, okay. Thanks for the info. I definitely won't trade with a person who has been marked as I'm sure most won't, but was wondering why they were still allowed to stay.

 

Not all people marked with a TwC are illegitimate. For example, my TwC was given as a result of submitting myself to the staff's discretion due to past situations.

Others, such as Hahanerd, have had multiple TwCs. Look at his current status now, though.

It's like a probation period. You work your way out of it by proving that you're a good value to the community.

 

I guess. If you don't mind me asking... what "past situations"?

 

A TWC can be given for a lot of different reasons. Basically the staff members don't want you to be completely banned, but also want to make sure others members trade cautiously with you. Most of the time TWC's are issued when people use the high pardon forum and confess about shady things they have done in the past.
