    Java problem with runescape website

    if anyone could help me out with java that would be much aprreciated.M runescape account has been locked and i need to recover it. When i get to the actual part where i need to enter in the information it says java has crashed.

    things i have done:

    Restarted computer
    Uninstalled/installed java
    downloaded previous version of java
    put java security down to medium

    None of this works. Please Help!

    Would just try to do it from a parent's/pals/library computer - You seemed to of done most of the steps. Last thing I can think of is use a different browser, as some are pickier than others.

    Check your security settings of both java and firewall. If its not firewall then its your java because it blocking the application

    maybe try deleting all java related folders including in temp and recovery and then try reinstalling? I'm not really sure, you could always buy a new computer but that seems a little over the top to fix this issue.

    hmm, try recovering your computer to an earlier time? also maybe use the rs client?

    This - if you're a Mac user you will get this error, meaning, you can either use a Runescape client or follow a tutorial which I can link once determining whether or not you're using an Apple product.

    Definitely sounds like a mac issue. I think you can troubleshoot this directly on the RS website (see the help section.)
