In one of those stages after not playing games for a while and I really want to start something new.

Can any one suggest a good MMORPG?

Definitely not going to Runescape but please recommend some games!

    Thanks,

I've been playing alot of Guild Wars 2 lately, I personally find it an awesome MMORPG to play.

Try checking out some YouTube videos, or online gaming magazines about some new MMO's on the scene, or pick one you haven't played before and check out some reviews of it.

DCUO was one of my favourites, gave me a few hundred hours of playtime. The grind to 30 is hell, but is essential for learning the mechanics of fighting.

I could never really hold interest in DCUO, it was like warcraft it sort of fizzled out the first time I tried it.

final fantasy 14 is pretty good now. They changed the game a lot since the first time I played it and the storyline makes a lot more sense, and there isn't a ridiculace amount of grinding required at the beginning which is why i stopped the first time.

Also the everquest games are really addictive and enjoyable MMORPG's work taking a look at, although they are older games nowadays.

You could always try Archeage :D
From my personal experience I think it's actually pretty fun. Good MMORPG with friends or solo as well.
