Need some assistance with desktop icons (Bodhi)

Ok, so i was able to succesfully add the icons to my desktop, but i am unable to move them freely? im used to a setting like Allign to grid or unlock desktop. But im not having any luck on finding a setting.

Im sure there is one, im very new to bodhi..but i cant beleive i didnt know about it before.

 

Right Click on your Desktop->View->Uncheck "Align Icons to Grid"

 

Thats to bad bodhi doesent have right click.. not windows brother

 

Sorry I don't use bodhi (or the enlightenment desktop), but two things:

1.) You're not going to have much luck getting Linux Desktop support here. Most of the people here use windows. The ones that do use Linux most likely use Ubuntu/Linux Mint or something similar, not bodhi with the enlightment desktop (E17 I think).

2.) You've already posted [Here] and been told that it does work in the testing repos. You'll have to wait for it to move to stable or use testing.

Use a more well known Distro. There's no benefit in using something obscure.

Just curious, what does enlightment provide you that other Desktop Enviroments can't? To me it actually looks kinda outdated and not very well polished.

And I'm pretty sure you can install enlightment in ubuntu-based distros.

not dated at all... its what comes on rasberry pi. Bodhi is empty and lets you get the apps you want, doesent come with bloatware

Yes i am aware you can install enlightenment.. but bodhi is designed for it
