shamans?

so we all know ty"awesome" shamans?
well once awesome..

i dont get why they did this to the shamans..
when i played during bc shamans were awesome and now
the only way i get into raids are to heal or just call bl than die.
we turned into the fail class.

i asked a gm about this and one reason he said was because
we are considered "hybrids"
and i said really now?
so what about druids and pallys?
they can be 3 different things..
and druids are the best healers in the game
and pallys are just deadly.

i dont get it.
why do you think shamans got pooped on during the recent patches
and do you really think they will do somthing about in this new patch?

 

Maybe it's your guild that doesn't like shammies?

We're going with shammies with all specs during our raiding in Ulduar25.
We also made one of our Resto Shammies go Enhancement..

Shammy in my opinion is a PvP class, and almost unbeatable one on one.

If you're trying to say shamans suck, maybe you're doing something wrong? Because shammies are still extremely good, both dps wise, and healing wise.


You might think Paladins heals for a lot, but they also have about 40-75% overhealing, which sucks (thanks to their glyphs).

Druids, they have recieved nerf after nerf now, stop complaining about them. (Both as Feral and Resto, never looked at Oomkin).


Edit : Also on the WoW forum, it seems like Shamans has become the new Rogues. (I'll let you figure out what I mean with that)

 

Shamans are still pretty deadly, depends who's playing the shaman

as for Paladins, well at the moment they are overpowered.
I've been playing a druid since 2005 and know all the tricks of the trade,
but I still loose to a paladin, and as i get them as low as %5 health they will just bubble
and spam heal so yeah. Also there single dps is way too high

As for druids, we've been nerfed ALOT over the years. I had to re-roll my spec because
in WOTLK i find it hard to take aggro as a tank. But I agree with Druids being the best healers.
I'm always at the top of the heal meter. But that's about all we can do now is be heal bots.

As for Moonkin dps, personnally haven't tried it but they are one of the best single target DPS's apparently

I hate being in a raid without a shaman just because heroism is so useful. But yeah I rolled ele/resto shaman, currently at 72 and damn I love it. We're good with CC (Earthbind totem) we're good at healing (Come on, who doesn't love chain heal?) we're good at dps (Yeah all our spells are good) we're useful in raids (Everyone loves totems and heroism).

 

Verts ohh Verts.. You're playing a shaman wrong if you're healing with Chain Heal. (Right, you're not level 80 yet, so it's ok. But at 80, you're not really suppose to use it that much )

But, Chain Heal isn't what you're suppose to be using now, as a Resto Shaman. Maybe in the upcoming patch when Resto Shamans get buffed; but not now.

 

well im 80 and ive been kicked out of raids when there were 2 shamans
when both are sp and gear were the same.

i asked them the reason why is because one bloodlust is all we need.
in my opinion it is the fact that some blizz workers up there must hate shamans lol.

also shaman healing is the worst atm.
so you cant say shaman healing is good
ive played shaman for a while and i got the rotation down that gives me the best dps.

 

my shamans level 22 but i want it to 80 BADLY i need a healer all my high levels are melee and i heard shamans are best.

why are druids the best? HOT's arnt too good and chain heal is 1337

 

yeah a restro shaman and when i do raids,
i get a druid on my back.
im single target and he is raid heal.
there best tbh this is coming from a shaman.

chain heal is "1337" how you say.
but lifebloom is crazy a druid less geared than me hit a 14k crit

 

well im going to get both my shaman and druid to 80, shaman being resto and elemental dual spec and druid as just resto and balance i guess.
