Question about Gilded Alters

Just got my 75 construction

I need to build a gilded alter to get 95 prayer, I need to know if you have to put marble burners on it or not.

yes you have to since its gilded dont forget the lighters contribute to the total xp

Actually that's a very common mistake, but you don't need the marble burners.

"All incense burners will give the same bonus. Candles and torches do NOT give any bonus. "

You can build lower burners to save money and still get the full xp bonus.

It's worth getting the marble ones anyway since when you get to the point where you're rich and want to blow money on a pretty house you're going to get 'em anyway
