Range/tank

Does anyone have any suggestions on stats for a range/tank? So far Ive only got 30 range and 20 defense lol.:embar:

 

If FTP, id say...

Def - 40

Range - 70 +

but thats putting it simply, obviously you'd need to think about - att n str, whether you want to 2h.

If members though im not quite sure

 

If you were a member I think the perfect stats are:

Range: 99
Defence: 75

That way you're still a low level, and can dominate zerkers with low attack. You also won't encounter many turmoil pures either.

 

99 def 99 range 99 sum, 99 pray.. and do some magic and maybe a lil strength to get your HP up in the 80's omg ud own, that would bring your Cb to like 60, 70ish.. 99 range with a steel titan owns.. look up range tank/steel titan on youtube

 

he'd be like 90 combat with all of that.... anyways. 70-80 def 99 ranged will suffice.

f2p is nice to have 70+ def as it renders rune weps quite useless unless a good strength level is backing it, then 80 - 85 ranged on top of that along with some str for 2h is good.

for p2p, 40 defence [quested] along with 85 - 90 ranged will get you easy solid ko's, honestly, i've seen shit go down when range tanks fire those dbolts and rune arrows with 90 ranged.. big hits = sexy win.

 

80+ defense
99 range
94+ magic
80+ hit points
52 or 92 prayer depending on if you can afford it.
70 attack
70 strength
80+ summing depending on if you can afford it.

That puts you in 100's though (with summ) where you'll be encountering pures with a few 99s.

 

99 range
94 mage with veng IS A MUST
44 prayer no more
70-99 defence
80 + hp

= win i have tank with 90 def and them stat's
