    Need pen tool help!

Okay so I'm learning how to use pen tool, I know basics and stuff..

So i'm doing glow technique, and my line that I make always stays selected until I click where I started it... What the fuck do I do to make it so I don't have to click where I started to get it to stop being selected... It's really pissing me off and keeps messing up my line.

Right click on the path and remove path, do that AFTER you stroke it.

Not bad, the top right shit is totally out of place, and its waaay to big, and the borders weight, but the pen tooling on his dagger is nice, the bottom end is kinda sketchy but not bad.
