Need more OMM's?

So recently.. i've been wanting a OMM for a 300m > maxed account trade..
As usual i headed over to the Middleman forums to find that NO OMM's are online, and weren't for hours (Most didn't even have access to a Skype)
Im suggesting we make more active members OMM's so they can actually be used

Absolutely not. If we make the OMM process more easier for more OMMs, then the quality would go to shit. Just use a free, reputable MM like Nytrix, Jack Goff, Elena, etc. They're fairly trusted.

 

There are plenty of people in the MM section who would be trusted with 300M, you don't have to have a OMM, many MM are qualified enough.

 

The guy im trading with, will ONLY use OMM or Staff member

 

Im not saying make the OMM process either, im saying de-rank the inactive OMM's (Hahanerd, maybe / maybe not) and make the active one's OMM

 

Are you selling or receiving the account?

Quite frankly, wether you use a MM or an OMM the account can still easily be recovered. Doesn't matter wether a MM/OMM is used, the only thing they can secure is that the payment makes its way to the seller and the details make their way to the buyer (and that the details work).

 

Thats irrelevant im familiar with the seller as a friend, but im not trusting him with 300m.. that's why we need a OMM

 

For several reasons some OMM are inactive.
If you can't wait I would suggest you to use a MM with several vouches.

 

Once again, as i said, the buyer would ONLY use a OMM

If he won't use either of those 2 people i'd trust at the bottom, I wouldn't trust him as far as i could throw him.

OMMs are not employeers of sythe, they provide their services personally, it's not their job, they are same users as you, me , everyone else but they shown that they're extremely trustworth. Sythe staff is getting more OMMs, but only few people in year are choosen for OMM because of requirements and upper staff decisions

 

Jack Goff recently got made an OMM. He's very active in the community. Shoot him a PM.

 

No support. Not a fan of having the rigorous OMM requirements and procedure made easy. I'm sure if you're patient and organise a time with any OMM, your trade will happen and everything will be sweet peaches.

 

No support. It's hard to obtain the status for a reason, they're normal users just like you and I they so happen to have proven themselves to be eligible to handle trades safely. We don't need more OMM's you need your trading partner to be more understanding and wait for an OMM to become available, or simply use one of the many trusted, free MM's that are active in the community.

 

No support. Don't look for online OMMs by their online status on Sythe as they can select hidden mode (appear offline). Always PM them or add their MSN/Skype.

 

No support can't just give anyone omm they need to prove they can be trusted with anything.

 

We have lives and can't tender to everyone's needs 24/7.

It is true - The OMM process is rigorous, and making any changes to allow more OMM's on our team to sugar coat your day may not change anything at all.
There is still no guarantee they will be online at all times and our credibility may be put at risk.

As for account trades, I refuse to do them, solely due to the security risk they pose to both parties.
Now, there are safe methods in place to secure the money/RSGP in a trade, but no guarantees regarding the account as they can be recovered at any time.

Please note: My OMM duties are not up for discussion.
This post is solely in response the original post regarding OMM activity and request for making more active OMM's.

What about me!

Seriously though, no support.. people who complete the app and that are deemed trustworthy get the rank. Handing out ranks isn't and never will be practical.

 

I do not support the idea, oMM is earned, and is trusted.
There must be a Element of Trust with this, and that is earned not given.
