15 pages in the report a SPAMMER section. Last move to the archives was 3 days ago, and it's a weekend D:.


Srsly, at least one of you should waste their time doin em, sheesh.

Whatever, I keep that up-to-date, along with spammer reports.

I'm moving house atm, so I haven't been active for the last few days or last weekend, or this week, or this weekend coming.

And now its 16+ pages -.-

Surely there are another moderators that can do it apart from me.

You replied hastily with a sort of repugnance to my post. I was merely stating a fact that was relating to the topic of this thread. No need to be rude Deacon.

Your exaggeration is quite extreme, do you want scammers on this site earning some victim's trust, then stealing their personal belongings? I, myself, do not think spam reports are a lot more important than scam reports; but that might just be my opinion.
In my point of view, I'd rather have a bit more spam than a bit more scammers lurking through this site looking for their next vulnerable victim.

 

I understand your point of view, but think of it this way. If a scammer successfully scams one person and does not recieve the expected punishment for it, he/she will think he/she can do it again without getting caught. This is natural human nature that exists in nearly anyone. As the saying goes, "once a thief, always a thief".

An uncaught scammer poses a threat to the directly whole of this society, especially to those who are not knowledgeable enough to use anti-scam measures to protect themselves. Who may be the next unsuspecting victim?

An apology would be greatfully accepted...

People are too ignorant to Use MM's thus they get scammed... Their fault we can only do so much its up the the traders.

People get scammed because they do not use MM; they don't use MM because they usually trust the other person. This is where the scammer comes in, he/she thrives building up their trust and then scamming when the time is right and the amount to be scammed is worth their ban. (if they even get banned). Scammers are a threat to sythe because they cause fear in the legitimate traders. They also cause many people on sythe to become furious at having lost their money and time.


Why did Deacon Frost get banned? Why are some of his posted deleted in this thread? I'm totally confused, I thought Deacon was trustworthy.
