So I've been thinking, what is your oppinion on body art? Like piercing, tatooing, shaping etc.?

This is really actual to me because I got a tattoo like yesterday :D

"Tattooing is one of the oldest forms of body art. The impetus to decorate and adorn is essentially a human characteristic and is something that people have always done. For many people the designs and symbols of adornment can hold great meaning. Similar designs can be found across cultures but their meaning can be significantly different. Within cultures the meaning of certain designs can change across time."

I got my tattoo on my shin. Two reasons for that actually:

    1. When you get a tattoo on your leg it will barely get wider.
    2. When you get a tattoo on a place where you can't see it day after day it won't get boring.

People who get tattoos on an arm usually get bored from it and want to get rid of it. So this won't happen to me :D

    Pictures ;D

    1. Shaved leg! LULZ!

    So yes, discuss etc. :D

It does have a neat design to it however. I myself am no fan of tatoos or other body art/peircings, but, the design in that one is well done.

Heh, well everyone has their own taste in something. I actually like tattoos, if it's not too much tho. I can't stand when someone has more than one tattoo. That is just hideous.

Yea i like this tattoo. Anything bigger is just too much. I like to stay with something small that has some meaning to it

I wanted that too, but it will get wide, spread and won't look good, that's why I got mine there. :)

Rofl +1. In my opinion, the ONLY kind of tattoos I support are symbolic ones - something that represents YOU. I know I'll never get a tattoo, but if you are to get one, the ones that aren't random bullshit to look cool are fine. Yours, for example, is showing your reverence to God/Jesus (lulz). But 90% of tattoos I've seen are just plain stupid (arrogant? like when people tattoo their initials on themselves or their gangs or whatever).

    That made me laugh.

Um, I don't know what time period you're living in; but these days you can get tattoos removed to the point where you can't tell if they were ever there.

I, however, like the tattoo. It's good work, but crosses are all too common. I don't have any tattoos just yet, but both of my ears are gauged to a 0g right now.

Everyone's free to do whatever they want with their bodies. Personally, I wouldn't get a tattoo unless at some point in my life I feel very strongly/passionately about something that I want it to be a part of my body until I die. Chicks with tattoos are kinda hot, but I'd rather date a clean one

Hey you're right! Tattoos do make people look prettier

Nah, just joking. Some people are just stupid, tattooing their whole body for some kind of gang (like in the pics, MS13). But if you do it right, it can be a piece of art.
I watch Miami Ink on Discovery and I really like the tattoos they make.
Maybe one day, if I am totally sure of it and older I will have one put on my leg on the side or something, or on my arm. I don't know yet.
