What I Am Interested In and What I Am Good At

I am interested in subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology. But I am horrible when it comes to solving equations.

I am good at subjects that just require lots of memorizing, such as history and psychology. If I study for these types of exams, I get better grades that problem-solving related subjects.

I'm confused on what I should do; I like tech-related stuff and mechanics, but they frustrate me. I'm good at memorizing and cramming, and I would probably make a great psychologist. But it just doesn't sound too exciting to me.

I need advice :/

 

Do what you love , not what your good at.. You'll end up hating what your good at and wondering why you didn't do what you liked doing in the first place..

 

Biology is less solving equations than memorizing in my opinion. Generally, most people are either good at Languages or memorizing which is your case or good at maths and equation / problem solving. You just have to work that bit harder towards physics and chemistry if you want to go into that field. Get a IT job or make up a small business, that's what my friend is doing.

 

You'll want to do something in biology, although even that requires a lot of calculations at times, especially the practical side of things.

Chemistry and physics are going to require logical thinking and calculations no matter what.

 

Do what you love and work on it.

Don't not do something because your bad at it, instead make your weakness your strength.

You should go out to a book store and buy some logical questions/puzzles.

Tbh you could do both (I'm assuming your still in school).

I'm exactly like you; I decided to go into psychiatry.

 

I'm very similar to you in how I study and perform in school. History and Psychology seem to be your best subjects. I would stick to those. I would want to pursue something in life that you're good at. I would stay away from psychology though. It seems to me TONS of people who are unsure of what they want to be are majoring in it. Its a dead end career. Since your good at memorizing you may want to be a lawyer. Take Political Science/international studies/ or any other undergrad law degree then continue on to law school.
