need help with voice

OK this is weird and I don't know what is wrong. I for a few years now use to go play my guitar in yahoo metal\rock chatrooms off and on etc. and the other night I decided to get on to find a "voice error" that is all it told me, other than "voice could not open" So I said OK no big deal shut down yahoo reloaded , same response, I then checked my hardware all is working fine. So I reinstalled, still nothing , friend said I may need codec so grabbed that real quick installed it still nothing. So I have ran out of any idea's anyone got a clue what could be wrong? It worked before but i have not been on in a few months. all help is appreciated and thank you in advance.

Yahoo may have changed something, see if its working with other people
