check out my basic tutorial on VB.NET, I think its pretty good but definitely needs major improvement. Once you've got the basics down add me on msn ([email protected]) or email me and i'll share a few procedures with you, but because you came here asking for things with no return, expect a lecture on the rules and respect for the community.

True, but I at least knew the correct section to post in and I always tried to work things out for myself instead of asking for free code to be handed to me on a silver platter.

true also but vb8 just came out and none of the modules from vb6 work on them and i cant figure out any of the msdn's on vb8. so i was asking for help.
most of the time help is free thats why its called help. otherwise i would be buying codes. really as far as im concerned i can stick with vb6, i just like vb9 because the forms look better.

Some-one failed to read MSDN properly then. And you only like VB9 because of the looks? DUDE - you obviously never touched on OOP and structure then.

Download an ebook and see if you can take it in. To be able to program in almost anything you need a firm understanding. VB .Net, C#, Java, C++ etc. all require understandings of things such as classes, and the three rules of Object Orientation (Inheritance, Encapsulation and Polymorphism) if you want to make anything half decent.

Most of the functions in the .Net framework work the same way, you just need to use the correct classes. Sendkeys is specified in the default class declarations (I think? System.Windows.Forms) And you use it thusly:

    Code:
    Sendkeys.Send("Text")
Again, the functions to move your mouse are specified in yet another class, which isn't too hard to uncover. Click here for more information.

He is using .Net. He posted in the wrong forum. He is not asking for VB6 help.
