    Custom Gaming PC

Hi, I need a new pc and would like a nice gaming one. My budget is $840 and would like some suggestion for which parts to pick from here. The main games I'll be play is Runescape and Microsoft Flight when it comes out and Flight Simulator X in the meanwhile. I also multitask a lot so maybe a faster cpu is better but I don't want a cheap graphics card either.

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Build-Your-Own-Gaming-PC/15374646

I'd like to know best gpu, cpu etc with a $840 budget, thanks.

Can also be a prebuilt one from here if its $840 or lower. http://www.walmart.com/browse/Compu...=48_0&ref=428236+4292340557&refineresult=true

Need help choosing between these, which is the better combination.

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 840 (3.2GHz) Processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX550 1GB PCI Express DVI Graphics Card/AMD Radeon HD6850 1GB Video Card

    or

Phenom II x6 1075T Processor with AM3 Motherboard & Cooling Fan with NVIDIA GeForce GTS450 1GB Video Card/ATI Radeon HD5770 1GB Video Card.

Why would you build a computer from the Walmart website? Try Tigerdirect, Newegg, or CompUSA.

Yes, I'm limited to Walmart since I'll be paying with Walmart gift cards.

Paying with Walmart gift card :(, my only other option is Best Buy if they got better ones there.

    Pretty shitty choices IMO.
For that budget you'd want a Phenom II x4 955, and a GTX 460, which it has neither of.

I would maybe try Best Buy instead since that is your other option, they have much better computers than Walmart does.

Buying anything custom from stores like Best Buy, Walmart, and Circuit City are just going to waste you're money. You can usually build the same exact machine they're selling for like $200 less.

If you're up for it as well, you can buy all the parts at Newegg and build a computer that way. I'm betting Best Buy would be more convienent though.

I'd suggest an AMD machine with at least a 1gb graphics card, a 4core processor with 3ghz at least, and at least 4gb of ram, and a 500gb HDD. The reason I say AMD is because they're much cheaper than Intel and just about as effective.

Everything else is up to you.

I can't buy off newegg, like I said I'm paying with a Walmart gift card. Also Walmart seems to have better option than best buy.

Imo, I'd want more, faster RAM. 1333 is on the low side as far as speed goes. I try to get 1600+ in all my builds. I suppose this is a decent computer but what do you expect from Walmart? The gpu isn't outstanding, but it will do reasonably well for the cost.

I do as well, but unfortunately wal mart doesn't offer a lot. For 700 dollars don't expect a computer that can run crysis 2 on max settings while running BF3.

Though order of speed importance in computer generally goes like this:
CPU - fastest, most important - 3.0 Ghz at LEAST. Try to get 3.6.
RAM - second most important - Needs to be at least 1333, I suggest 1600 or 1800.
GPU - third most important. Needs to be at least 1 GB dedicated
HDD - fourth most. This needs to be at least 7200 RPM

Alright, thanks for suggestions and I won't need to ever run 2 games at same time so not expecting that and I'll be playing crysis on ps3 :p.
