Need Help with my IP please.

Howdy,

I'm from the UK and my ISP is BT Internet (One of the biggest in the UK).

Whenever i try and set up an Auto bot it only works for 2-3 days before my IP seems to change and i have to whitelist it again.

Does anyone know why this happening, or how i can change it?

Can only assume your IP is not STATIC thats why your IP is constantly changing.

Why do BT keep changing my IP address?

BT do not issue static IP addresses to residential customers so your IP address will change whenever there is a disconnect or when BT decide to change it which can be frequently. This will as you know cause problems if you need to access a camera or NAS externally.


Easy way to solve this is buy VPS and run your Posting bot thru it. (will cost you around 5$/month if you get cheapest one)
