microphone stopped working?

i used my webcam as a mic, but recently it just stopped working out of the blue, im not sure if a setting was changed or anything, the webcam itself still works but in msn when i goto set the mic thers no option for webcam anymore, but the cam still works

any help?

 

Delete the program off your computer, and reinstall it. If it still doesn't work its probably broken.

 

audio center, when your cam is plugged in see if its an option.

A lot of the time the microphone breaks in those two in one webcams. Was it "cheap"? Also moved to Tech Support.

 

idk, its been working fine forever, now it just dosnt, having webcam problems now to.


ive tried reinstalling too, its wierd. i dont know how it would just stop working.

its almost like its not reading it

well i got my moms webcam/mic form upstairs , same company, and it works fine, so i guess maybe my webcam jsut stopped workin

Unplug it.. if you added any extra Sound Audio devices check those:S could conflict
Uhh reinstall msn?
System restore?
Hmm. Check audio configs?
