Pcu to xbox possible?

Okay, I am about to purchase a modular 1000W PCU. I am saving 250W for the xbox leaving me with 750W. Will that 750W run a i7-2600k with 16Gb of ram and Crossfired Radeon 6970s?

Now, how are you going to use part of the psu for your xbox? explain this to me..


But 750 should be fine, but may be borderline if you're maxing out the cards.

 

What dank said, minus I'd recommend an 850w minimum.

 

No idea what you're talking about with the Xbox bit but 750W is fine for CF 6970s.

6970s only came in at 600w under load, 150w is more than enough for overclocking headroom.

 

I am using a pc power supply to power the xbox. The wires will be directly pinned onto the motherboard. I failed with the acronym my fault. I will open a thread showing my complete build/mod later on, cant really describe it =/
