Rarebot's response to virus claims!

This is a topic that needs to address accusations that are flying around other forums (which we do not participate on). Apparently it has reached our attention that someone is pretending to be a developer within our team and claiming he infected it or we infected it or something along those lines. We are telling you 100% that this person is lying. Rarebot is 100% clean and safe to use and it always will be. Think logical with this one: we could make a ton more money by offering a legitimate clean client than infecting a small number of accounts. We do not play this game and do not care about accounts or gold. Our conclusion statement is simple if you do not trust rarebot then do not use it. We are a growing community and things will take awhile but we will put a promise that our bot is safe. Any issues regarding anything in our bot: we did use an old RSBot source, so some things may need to be removed to ensure even more safety than we have in place. Some things also do not work (we are aware of that). There are 4 developers within this forum that are admins here and none have left or are leaving.

With that said we have seen a portion of the post, and this so called user who claims to be a developer. We ask you one thing: Post our updater that you "used" to update rarebot, and "release the open source version fully of what we have done at rarebot." Until then , save us the time and do not lie to our users. You are probably just trying to scare some people away who are obviously taking some of your gold or crowding your botting spot. Or reveal more information about the secrecy that all developers here know about. As developers all of us are capable and have updated the bot before. This means show us the proof or stop lying. After our concerned users read this , please know that we are 100% legitimate and that this person is feeding you lies. Do not stand for it and keep botting. Do not be so gullible to believe what you hear about on other forums. We do not participate in any other forums and never have never will. Do not post defamatory content about rarebot or you will be warned. You are simply wasting our time and we could be doing more productive things than addressing useless posts like this one.

we would also like to take this time to never download rarebot from any other site other than www.rarebot.com (or www.rarebot.net or www.rarebot.org). never download rarebot from anyone else , forum , or friend. Do not download scripts that you do not trust. Be especially aware of any runescape files you are downloading recently because people are trying to attack the weak and hack you by promising you fake scripts or fake bot clients that do not work. if you download some file and realize it did not do what it was promised to do , you are probably infected by something. do not download anything promised to you via email or youtube video.

Rarebot is clean and safe to use. Keep botting and an update is coming soon for client as well as making the API open source so our contributors (like Robert G) can help us build a more solid API. If you are a member of other forums where you see users stating otherwise , spread this news announcement to all doubters and prove them wrong.

I'm also gonna have to say it's legit.

Mainly cause it makes more sense to make money from a legit bot + advertising on a website receiving high traffic than stealing Runescape coins from all the little kiddies ftp botting some iron ore, willow logs, or raw trout.

It is kind of funny how one persons post on HF made everyone freak out though.

Duh, because RareBot is based on PowerBot's old client.

Powerbots client was open source so it's'not stealing as they were able to fix the issues and powerbot wasn't

I highly doubted the bot was a virus to begin with. Their scripts work so well for an event like 'bot nuke' to have occurred...it wouldn't be worth losing their fame for stupid shit like this.

They are under DDoS attack. This happens frequently.

Rarebot uses the old API's of pb's but claiming that they stole or copyed their API's is retarded. They fixed all their hooks, and arrays everything was updated on top of all this PB's API was designed by Jacmob who use to code for PB. I like this API because honestly, ive been looking at scripts and its not that hard to really script in this API's format on the other hand, PB is releasing a object oriented format which I bought a 120.00 dollar book for and am hoping to get going at it soon here.

im using rarebot on my main (200m bank) since some weeks no ban no cash gone

and i checked my pc for viruses (hijackthis, netlimiter, taskmanager, kernel detective) there was nothing suspicious

now, it's loading! yeeeah can try it out soon
is it way better than epicbot? hopefully idungeon will come back some days are there any dungeon scripts out for rarebot? what's with produngeon?
