Using Adblock/Ublock - How to Whitelist Sythe.org

Sythe.org has non-intrusive ads, meaning ads do not target you, rather they are for the users of sythe by the users of Sythe.

With recent updates to adblock, the website is being affected not only to the extent of the banners but also the signatures and avatars. This disrupts the function of the forum, but can be easily fixed by whitelising Sythe.org.

You only need to whitelist the website once and never have to look back again. By following the simple instructions mentioned below you can go back to browsing sythe normally:

AdBlock

1. Open the AdBlock menu (the AdBlock icon in the upper right-hand corner of your browser) and select the gear icon




2. On the Customize tab next to "Manually edit your filters," click Edit



3. Scroll down to "Stop blocking ads" and select "Show ads on a webpage or domain"



4. Add Sythe.org to in the box below and press ok for the changes to apply. This ovverides all other filters.

uBlock / uBlock Origin

1. Click the uBlock / uBlock Origin icon.




2. Click the “power” button in the menu that appears to whitelist the current web site





3. Notice the Blue power turns grey. This means Sythe is whitelisted. Reload the page you were viewing.








Congratulations! you can now browse sythe normally again!
