New Recovery system- Is it still possible to recover acc back?

Hi im trying to buy boxer and frost bot acc. Im 1st time going to buy an acc, i decided to buy cos of new recovery system. so i think its safe to buy now.

new rs pass rec system not letting us to go next step without giving registered email id. even if we entered right email, jagex sending confirmation link to registered mail to go next step.


But in acc trading section people says accs are still recoverable by previous owners even after email and rec questions changed. how its is possible? is thr anyother way to recover a acc from rs site?

An account is always recoverable, all he has to do is email jagex and they would send him a manual recovery form.

 

I believe if the person that is on the same exact ip with which the account was made they can get to the next page.

i just tested it on my new acc i made 3days ago. it made from my ip. recovery section gave me 6 chance to enter right email id. but i entered wrong mail id on purpose to test. after 6 tries rs site banned me from recovering accs for 1hr.

 

oh thx for the info. didnt know manual recovery is possible.

 

so whats the verdict then how easy is it to recover accounts under new system?

 

If you are the original owner then all you need to do is email Jagex and you can get the account back, its not worse and its not better it's just there.
