Need help running COD:MW2 on pc.

Alright my computer is probably 7 years old and I never changed a thing on it. I downloaded and installed COD from steam because they had a free multiplayer weekend going but I got this error message. SO basically I would like to know what things I should buy for my computer to run this game. I have a Gateway 554GE and graphics card RADEON X300 Series (old, I know) Take a look at the pics and give me a list of items to buy for my computer. Please make sure they are compatible with my computer thanks!!!

 

You posted this awhile ago and i think were answered, you need a new graphics card and maybe some other graphics related software, a new card should do the trick though, what OS and type of PC do you have?

I was thinking about buying this card right here but I was wondering if I would have to buy a power supply for it because I dont want to.

I think itd be better off if you bought one because if you dont and it turns out you need it its gonna end up costing more money in the long run.

 

Is this because without the power supply other components could be damaged? I'm not sure what kind of power supply I currently have.

 

Unfortunately, you will need to buy a brand new PC. I doubt a 7 year old processor could keep up with the latest graphics cards.

Go to Guru3D, sign up and make a thread asking what you should buy. Also, tell them what your budget is. There are a lot of geeks in that site so you're gonna find better answers there.
