    AVI ---> HDMI Cable question.
    Okay so just a quick one.

    If i bought this cable so it goes from my tower to my TV will this enable me to hear sound through my TV not through computer speakers?

    No, the cable will not carry the sound.

    Only if you use an HDMI to HDMI would that be possible, unless you also run an aux cable from the PC to the TV's input.
