Need help really QUICK - Got scammed $1200 [PayPal]

So yes I kept selling to this guy (hes bought alot of me already). And today he did an unauthorised claim on 3 of the payments.
The payments were $500, $90 and $600. All sent as gifts. The $600 one has a note saying "I'm paying for a virtual item, that I have already receiv". <-- misspelled
What is the best thing to do? All payments were from the same paypal, and I've known him for quite a bit so I'm pretty sure it's his paypal.

Shall I call or appeal with the note and asking for IP check?

 

Oh man, that sucks. I would try appeal, and get to the bottom of it.

 

Maybe his account was limited, contact him about it first.

 

Try and claim what is rightfully yours. This will take a while, so contact the buyer in the meantime and figure out what happened. If he is trying to scam you, maybe you can convince him to give it back.

 

Basically i found out he bought an account on the near reality forums, and all GP he bought off me he put on there. And the guy recovered the account so I think he was kinda mad and did an unauthorised claim on the payments to get it back. I send him a PM on there to work something out but if he doesn't talk to me I will call paypal and do the appeal. I have a great chance because it was on the same IP (atleast I think)

Also what does being limited have to do with it? I'm limited aswell but it doesnt claim the money back or anything lol.
