Everytime I get an image from the internet and save it and try to upload it as an avatar it's always too big and the resizing doesnt work how do I resize it manually?

Well just in general, I've tried a lot of things but they all just don't seem to be working, I thought the site would resize the images and have it on there but that doesn't seem to be the case.

 

Are you using a link or uploading from your computer?
If you're uploading, it's the size specified or 64Kb, whatever comes first.

 

I tried both but both didn't work.

You can choose image sizes to upload to on imageshack, as well as resizing it in photoshop/gimp/MSpaint. It's not too hard once you know how.
