Need Help on removing registered email.

Recently was selling an account,
buyer attempted to scam me.
I didn't have the email registered therefore he registered the account to his email but luckily I was able to recover it.

The account is still registered in his email which means he can still recover the account, correct?

How can I delete his email and register it back to my own?

I'm sure that when you recover an account it automatically gets registered to the email that you used to send the recovery outcome to, are you sure it hasn't changed to that?

 

Unfortunately I am sure, I clicked on change email and an email was supposed to be sent to my registered email but I never got the email so I'm assuming it went to his.

 

Check your email it might of went to Junk..

No problem man, aha I'm the one who told you it would go to junk so yeah goodluck with the account man hope it don't get recovered.

 

It shouldn't get recovered. I am the original owner.

If it ever happens again, to remove his email follow these steps.

Send an email to - [email protected] (you can look on forums this is jagex's help email).

All you need is the recovery information.

You'll get an email back telling you to submit an appeal via the account appeal system -

(that is the actual link to the account appeal system, if you don't trust me you can go to RuneScape's website and get it yourself).

Type your username.

The next box will ask for your registered email. Leave this box blank and click next twice and you will be taken to the Appeal Form.

Fill out the Appeal Form in as much detail as possible, then click 'Send to Jagex'.

The information they need includes early passwords, billing details (if you have ever been a member), contact information and recovery answers. If you did not set any recovery questions, you can choose the option marked 'I did not set any recovery questions'.

Everything is pretty detailed when you get to the website.
