Need help on computer

Looking to build the perfect Youtube computer. I am going to start playing piano with Lara6683, and want a computer that has perfect picture quality, fast upload speed, and great other specs would not hurt.



Please tell/link me to what I should buy, starting with what tower I should start building with. I am not computer savvy at all, but if I have something in front of me I can get it done, well at least so far.

 

Upload/download speed is based off your internet connection speed, not your computer.

If you are looking for a computer to run youtube, literally any computer will run it fine. I would look for a computer with atleast an i3 though. And 4 gigs of ram.

Do you plan on buying pre-built or building your own? What is your budget?

You want to do what on the computer? Watch youtube videos?
You can do that on a $99 craigslist special.

Edit: I can see Youtube videos on my computer, laptop, but it has slow video uploading speed, and I also need a great webcam.

Yes like video editing and such. I will buy a prebuilt one if you know of a good one on Amazon, or Ebay, or sites similar to that. Not wanting to trust anyone on here with thousands.

 

I dont understand what you mean by trusting anyone on here with thousands, you would order the parts and build it yourself? It is not difficult, takes an hour tops and gets you the best bang for your buck. If you dont wanna do that, no problem, there is some good prebuilt ones out there.

I would look on newegg.com or tigerdirect.
I am on my phone atm, so i can really find a good one, but i can in about W2 hours when i get home if no one has found you one yet.

For your price range, look for a computer with a ssd, an i7 cpu, probably 16 gigs, you probably just do with 8, but if you have the money go for it. Ontop of the ssd you will want a hdd with atleast 1 tb of storage.

Not bad, but you could probably get a better one. You definately want an ssd at your pricerange.

 

Have you editing before? With the price range I'd suggest a Macbook pro with retina display, fit's perfectly for what you have described. Has AMAZING top of the line retina display,and most editors/video makers use macs as the Final cut pro is considered superior to sony vegas in most people eyes.

Yes sir. I have done several hundred, if not a thousand Youtube video editing now, just not from my computer.

Will browse that site, what is SSD?

 

Solid state drive, the read/write times are just a lot faster then a regular harddrives.
