~~ Help With A Riddle/Challenge ~~

Hey forum,

i was recently given this challenge and could not figure it out, there is no 'perfect answer'. As its not a numbers riddle or word but a physical/mental​

.

I will add a picture if words cant explain correctly but here it is.​

There are 8 people who have to get a brief case from one side of an electric fence to the other.

On the side of the 8 people are a

~ ladder, only a straight up and down ladder, not a 4 leged one (Height of the electric fence - 1.5m)
~3 Metel poles approx 2.5m long.
~2.5 m Of rope (quite strong rope)​

Rules ~

1. If the elctric fence is touched by any items/people they are out of the challenge

2. all the people have to be on one side or the other once the brief case is delivered to the other side of the fence

3. you have 15 minutes.

4. It can't be thrown over or dropped, it must be placed by a person



Any questions do ask and i have 2 other very hard challenges i will load at a a later date.​

 

Answer 1.) Walk around the fence

Answer 2.) Place both of the metal poles .5m into the ground and lean the ladder up against them and then kind of use them to jump over the fence since they'll be higher, obviously the guy with the briefcase going last.

Answer 3) Pole vault with the metal poles.

 

If this is a riddle presented to us in the form of words, I don't understand rule 3. You couldn't account for that.

 

Have all the people throw one person over the fence. Then, two people hold up each end of the ladder while the other people walk across. The last person sets up the poles so the ladder stands up in the air. The he walks across with the briefcase...
maybe....

 

Wait, I'm curious about the motives of these men >.> let me think...they need to get over an electrified fence...they have 15 minutes....limited supplies consisting of items used in tiling/painting/yardwork....and they have a briefcase that were not allowed to know what's inside...

I don't get this at all...maybe the wording could be changed or I need to be a lot smarter >.>

 

Stand the ladder up 2 feet away, get on the top of the latter with the pole in your hands, then simply pole vault over the fence. Repeat this process and the 8th person has the briefcase tied around chest and pole vaults across carrying the briefcase with him

but the guy ontop of me seems to know what his talking about

Sorry i been afk for so long, firstly the ground is only an inch or so of sand then concrete so u cant bury the poles, polevolting (which seems a popular response) is to hard, the poles are very heavy and big.

Its not a riddle as much as a challenge i was givin by a group of people. So sorry if it seems sketchy but l'm going off memory.
