Soul Wars

Well, all i hear about is how amazing Soul Wars is. Truth is, i never played it. When it came out i heard about it, but i was legit no-lifeing 99 fletching and cooking so never really played it.

Therefore, my question is what are the benefits? Levels, money, both? No need to go into great depth.

I would like to know this also... Because I took like a 3 year break from Runescape and they added a bunch of shit... I just barely figured out what Fist of Guthix is the other week haha...

 

No Randoms, easily bottable and below decent XP/h. No financial incentives, just the fact the you can gain levels without gaining much HP. To be truly honest, soulwars is pretty pathetic. At 50 strength you can earn 40 Pestcontrol points/h, which is 20k XP/h and get around 10k in game, so 30k xp/h in total with a small amount of cash... In soulwars it will be 4 zeal/h, which would be 8.4k XP + 5k xp in game, so 13.4k Xp/h. It's all up to you and highly depends on what kind of account your making.

 

It's all about getting levels without hp lvl.You won't make any money here.

 

It's also beneficial to those who want cheap pray, but willing to sacrifice time.

 

It takes 35 days doing 24/7 to get 95 pray...
So... You spend 840 hours.
In that time you can eaily get 99 Runecrafting, which will make you 300mil.
Give it 5 days, you now have 95 pray and 120mil left over...
In 5 days you cannot make 120mil botting.
Soulwars is rubbish tbh.

 

But do you have a good bot for the 95 pray?
No one wants to do it legit.

 

You still have to do a lot of work either method.

Soul wars is great in your higher levels, it's not worth your time playing it until around 80+.

Soulwars is over-rated tbh, it's good if your botting up on a fresh account but other than that it's pointless.

 

tbh soul wars is good once you reach around 75-80 in a skill AND you dont want hp xp.
If you are a main, soul wars is rubbish, but for pures, it makes many things possible such as 99 strength with low hp (50 or less) Which makes a good obby mauler at around 50 combat.

 

Most of the people that say soul wars is amazing are the ones who just botted it. Its not the best for anything, its average at most. Its only unique qualities as opposed to other training methods are that it can train slayer without combat and can do this with other skills such as hitpoints or summoning to make a pure have an upset balance of combat levels.

 

Well, I bot SW, and although its "amazing" in that I get 99's without doing shit, the XP is not amazing, even with higher levels. I get about 13k/hr (strength+hp) with 60 att 93 str, and about 3.5 zph. You very rarely get 2x the amount of zeal as games you play (because the bot hardly makes it into the beginning of games, so your constantly getting 1) and only 2-4 times have I botted for over 15hrs and had more than 4 zeals per hour. So 13k/hr melee, plus 4 zeals X 8k xp per zeal is like 45k xp/hr. And 4 zph is amazing, truly its between 3-3.5 most of the time.
