Need help in installing this

After downloading the latest Visual package from Microsoft. Swan said it is free so I downloaded it. I tried installing the Visual C++ but I always get this error

After reading some tech support/help from microsoft, as well as other forums, I followed the instructions so I can successfully install the Visual C++. Unfortunately I still get that error. Anybody can you please help me? I'm starting to get frustrated with installing it.

I do not know why you are getting the error, but there is probably one or more of the following:

Incompatibility with other software,
Dependencies missing,
Retarded Windows error messaging (Yes, it decides to be retarded for no reason),
corrupted file,
Computer may not be fully updated

Try updating using Windows Update (If you haven't already) and see what happens. I remember having trouble with windows install packages, updating and they worked. Other than that, I cannot really help.

I did try the net fix 2.0, and after that I still get the error. I will try to update it. If I still get errors, I'll make vid on where the error is

I have updated windows.

THE RESULT: Partial system crash!

So I had to use a back up system files.

try using ur windows update after a while.. it helps alot... and your applications and other viruses that come are updated and fixed

i had to do partition to my harddrive like 5 times... and it finally worked after i did it the 5th time

its usually currupted files that are saved.

I just said, I have updated windows (windows update) and led me almost crashing my system so I couldn't try and see if it's working (the visual 2008) coz of failure in the system after the update.

google it and dl the latest! it will work (hopefully)
