Impulse Software sued! 2011 /////

Impulse Software, makers of Nexus (rsbots.net, autofighter.org, rscheata.net) are offline.

It's been almost a year (Tuesday, February 09, 2010) that Jagex filled in a lawsuit against impsoft (Source: http://www.rfcexpress.com/lawsuit.asp?id=54191)
A few days ago they asked for an extension:

You think its related to the fact that the site is offline?

 

No wonder rsbots.org can't download.

 

I'm pretty sure powerbot.org isn't loading because Gold4rs doesn't want it to.. after all that happened. That or it's being massively ddos'd.

Jagex is cracking down again I guess

 

RSCheata.net is down to server issues and has nothing to do with any pending legal litigation.

Powerbot.org is not loading due to the admins of the website compromising 100's of accounts worth billions of GP and tens of thousands USD. It's the truth, I posted a thread, I was a moderator at that website. My identity does not need to be revealed.

In other news, Rsbots.net gets DDoS'd lots from people and other rival botting sites, such as powerbot, which is probably doing that because they all got owned and don't want to pay for bots. who knows what type of nerd rage could be out there?

Anyways yeah, no leagal action reason.

 

They actually have no legal grounds for suing impsoft. There are a lot of technical issues behind this which impsoft can easily get away with.

Not true, the FTP (not sure if its an ftp or svn) got hacked by ghost (who made StealthBot) and he uploaded a 'new' RSBot update (so every1 who downloaded it after his upload) got trojanned by him.

It's not the admins.

admin on rsbots.net just said "This is simply just an issue with our datacenter. Nothing else.... We are working to get the server repaired and back online ASAP." so i don't think they are getting sued.

Change your passwords immediately and your recovery's to be safe. Delete powerbot and run a virus scan.

OT: Shit I was planning on buying a fishing or smithing bot from rsbots.net today. =/ oh well.

No, ahhh I hate it when people don't make the simple distinctions...
Rsbot; in this context, is referring to the client developed upon powerbot.org
Rsbots.net, on the other hand, is a site which sells paid Nexus scripts.
The major difference here is that Rsbot itself is a client whereas Rsbots.net is a supplier.
The Nexus Client is perfectly safe and working.
However, the Rsbot client is fucked up.
This is why I dislike it when people simply use the term Rsbot in such a fragile manner > <

 

Nexus is not infected

 

Impsoft server is down - They have NOT been sued.

As for PowerBot, I was told by a PB Ex-Mod that Arbiter DDoSed the site.
