elemental workshop quest

is it possible for a level 3 skiller to do elemental workshop quest I.
I know you can use ring of recoils, but do i require to hit the guy atleast once? or can i just use ring of recoil the entire time?

 

You have to hit the guy once, but it won't level you unless you're about to gain a level.

 

yes, i've done it a few times, all you have to do is just recoil the lvl 35 rock monster, and you're done:l however, you can't do the second because of the 33 mage rq. yes, you'll have to hit it at least once, i'd recommend using a spear to share the exp in the stats, instead of getting full xp from one type of attack, just incase you have to do other quests like ictharlins

 

I'd go for using a warhammer or something, even though you'll get more xp into one stat, you keep your options more open for the future.

I.E. 1 Defence pures, etc.

But yes just hit it once and recoil the rest of the way.
