    PC randomly shuts off

I built my PC atleast 2 years ago and never had this problem but since about 2 months ago my PC decided it wanted to start turning itself off randomly. Im pretty sure its not an overheating problem as i clean my fans regularly as they seem to love eating dust. Ive had a little read and most problem say that it may be voltage or out of date drivers but i know for a fact my drivers are up to date and dont see why my voltage would have suddenly changed?

Can anyone help me find out whats causing this?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I've had out of date drivers in the past before, but they were never a reason for my PC to turn off.

I did however have a complication with a build I did, where I had parts not completely connected properly, resulting in the PC shutting off.

    PC randomly shuts off

Okay so ive checked my Event Viewer and concluded that it must be hardware. Having looked in my PC, everything seems good and nothing out of the normal. I clean it out pretty often so i'd know if something had been affected. Anyways, I think its the kettle lead im using... My old one died and i had to replace it a while back. Considering thats the newest thing ive added to my PC in a long time, its gotta be that.

Make sure you touch the right thing otherwise you'll have to buy another part of it. Also, if you're not sure then go let a expert check that so you don't get any risk.

Check the drivers are suited to you Computer? Check the power pack, maybe it's a bit worn? Things can just happen.

    PC randomly shuts off

Does it like hard boot off as in it's running and then the power was cut as if you unplugged it. Or does it randomly shut down softly, or blue screen, or...?
