    What's your budget, where are you from, do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse or OS(Windows 7 64bit)?

    Will max all games on the market. Can take away the SSD, or get a 60gig one(SSD for the OS and shit not games), can add a second 580 whenever you need too.
    Add whatever else you need + either http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_23_845&products_id=17919
    or http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_23_845&products_id=13232
    I'd go with the H80 IMO.

    from pccasegear.com

    EDIT:
    put the wrong ram in;
    http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_538_913&products_id=13931
    Or any other 8gig set really.

    Noodles build would work fine but I decided to max out your budget :p

    If you wanted to save some money + possibly get another 580, you could just as easy downgrade the case to a 650D or similar, that's like -$150. Could downgrade the 580 to a lesser model, easily -$120. You didn't mention needing a mouse so if you don't need it, -$110. The monitor is REALLY nice but if you want something lesser, could easily knock like -$100 off the price. If you don't need a 2600k (2500k and 2600k are within like 2% performance of each other in gaming) that's like -$100. A less expensive cooler like a Noctua NH-D14 would work just as well, but I'm not sure how much less it would be in Australia. It's like half the price of the H100 in the US.

    Choice is yours :p this is what I'd build with that budget though. MSI Lightening Xtreme edition 580 is AMAZING :) GL though!

    The 800D is horrible for air cooling, don't go near it(and it's HUGE.)
    Wouldn't touch Hitachi.
    And $2.5k on a rig and only 1 gpu? bit odd.
    $3k on a computer is stoopid tho, wouldn't spend more then $2k my self.

    The only thing in his system that would be air cooled is his GPU, which won't be a problem on its own. It's not much bigger than my Phantom tbh, like 3 inches longer and like 2 inches taller. The price of having nice components is usually having a big case. I agree on Hitachi in hindsight. The Lightening Xtreme Edition is such a great OCer you really don't even need a second 580 but if he wanted he could easily cut out enough of my build to budget it in by doing what I said.

    Tbh if you've got the money, spend it. If I had a good paying job I'd have like $7k into my PC. All custom wcing loops (wouldn't be surprised at ~$2k just for that), 4x EVGA GTX 580 Hydro Copper or whatever, 30" 1660p monitor, some monster SSDs, a sexy RAID setup, all the best peripherals.
