need help choosing barrows armor/weapon

ok so right now i have 70 att 70 def 70 hp and nearly 70 str, my current weapon is abyssal whip
i was wondering if this was a good combination
verac's helm
verac's brassard
verac's skirt
and then, instead of verac's weapon (flail) can i use my whip? because i think the whip is a better weapon, but idk that is the combo i would like but i don't know if i should get rid of my whip and use the verac's weapon instead.

please give me some suggestions and what you think of this combination.
the sooner the better

Poor. Point in Veracs armour if you're not going to use the flail for the special effect lol. If you're going to do that you may aswell use Torags/Dharoks.
Dharoks Legs, Torag/Dharok Plate and Verac Helmet, or Verac Plateskirt aswel, plus DFS / Obby shield, and Whip would be a better combination. Even better would be a BGS/AGS.

 

what if i just wear full veracs? with flail?

 

Then it's good to hit through people's melee prayer. Depends what you're doing? Are you PKing, or just generally training? Or for Looks?

dharock or torag legs
torag's helm
dharoks or torag body
glory amulet
obsidian shield
obsidian cape.
whip

 

Nice set-up. Try and get a trusted firecaper to get you a Fire cape though, would be so much better. Also, you should try and get barrows gloves. And possibly use a defender instead of the shield, for better attack bonuses, but none-the-less, a decent setup. Also try and get a fury BTW.

yea i am seriously thinking about a fury. if i get that i will use a defender (less expensive then obby shield lol)
