Ipad killing bandwidth

My sister has an ipad which she basically only uses to go on facebook, but anytime she uses it it kills my ping.
I've literally got to the point where I can play league for about one game before I flip shit due to the lag..

Anything I can do to help stop this? I don't really understand how an ipad can suck up so much bandwidth.

 

Are you sure its your sister's ipad. Unless she is downloading apps 24/7, the ipad shouldnt being using too much bandwith. Even if she is playing multiplayer games on the tablet, it doesnt use that much internet.

 

Yea man, it has to be that.

I am perfectly fine until she gets on then my ping shoots through the roof.
